St Ives January

Yes, it rained a lot this week!   But I’ve still managed to have a few low tide beach walks.  I am never disappointed  when I am on the beach, what ever the weather.  Heres some beach photos at the beginning of the week.

St Ives Emporium-Bedford Road

Today I was helping a friend out in his shop in St ives, although we are in January there are still visitors coming to the town to soak up the St Ives vibe.  I met the most amazing couple that were touring in their motorhome, Barry was 80, and really looked about 70.  I took note of what he and his wife had to say about how they had lived there life, lots of exploring and travel. They hadn’t been to St Ives in years but said they it was even better than they remembered. We took a selfie and they said everyone was so friendly here!

ART IN SEPTEMBER

Here is the first piece of Art that I have produced in years!  Titled ‘Porthmeor Sunset’ I was asked to produce something on an A4 canvas that was for a silent  art auction raising funds for charity.  I produced it in early September, I was so inspired that I booked on to a couple of courses  during the September Festival at St Ives school of Painting. Feel like doing an Art Course? Have a look at their website of courses, you will find something that suits you!  schoolofpainting.co.uk
